SIA Door Supervisor- Refresher Course

Entry Requirements

• Must be 18 years or above
• Must have the right to live and work in the UK
• Basic level of English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Must be physically able to take part in training (including physical intervention)
• Must hold a valid Emergency First Aid at Work certificate (or be willing to complete it alongside the course)
• Must be able to pass SIA criminal record checks

Funding Available

• This course may be fully funded for eligible learners
• Funding eligibility depends on age, residency status, employment status, and prior qualifications
• Learners who are unemployed, on low income, or receiving benefits may qualify
• Our team will assess your eligibility before enrolment
• A self-funded option is available if funding criteria are not met

Course Outcomes

• Apply for an SIA Door Supervisor Licence through the Security Industry Authority
• Work in roles such as:
  • Door Supervisor (clubs, bars, events)
  • Security Guard (retail, corporate, static sites)
  • Event Security Officer
• Develop key skills in:
  • Conflict management

  • Safety and risk awareness
• Progress to further qualifications, including:
  • CCTV Operator Licence
  • Close Protection (Bodyguarding)
